Online personal training is a comprehensive fitness coaching service that draws from my 25+ years of experience to design a workout program, and lifestyle changes that will help you achieve your goals and transform your body in a timely yet healthy fashion (and keep it).
Your program is designed on a bespoke basis based on you providing me information about your exercise history, current fitness levels personal logistics (by way of gym access, home fitness equipment etc). We’ll look at recovery, movement, training, stress, sleep and nutrition to get the result you want, and I’ll gather information from an in depth questionnaire that you’ll complete.
I also ask you to send over a ‘before’ style picture that allows me to gauge your current level of muscularity, body fat. It’s one of the best measures as you go through your journey as photos don’t lie, and generally people want to look better in person. ie. Nobody asks your body fat mass in KG at the beach. You either feel confident in your body or you don’t.
If you wish to track calories, caloric intake is calculated based on your height, weight, age and activity level and body type. We will discuss various options to monitor food intake during our first coaching call though as sometimes there are better options for each individual.
How it works:
- We have a meeting where we discuss goals, potential barriers and etch out a rough plan between us and to be honest, see if we click.
- We agree a timeline.
- I send you an in-depth questionnaire or two that helps me determine your current nutritional and exercise status.
- I go away and build you a tailored workout regime and nutrition protocol to get you going.
- You get access my ‘Marc Edwards Fitness PT App’ to make logging your workouts and nutrition extremely easy.
- You log your starting measurements and upload 2 photos. 1 facing the camera, one side-on to the camera.
- We run some testing protocols that you log your results. This includes the afore mentioned questionnaire, my ‘nutrition and lifestyle questionnaire’.
- Every day you will log your training and your nutrition.
- Every Monday morning, you will log your updated measurements, for example, weight, body circumferences etc
- This is where I will assess your progress and if needed, I will make any tweaks.
You will have my phone number and will have unlimited support throughout our journey.
Note, any package is for a minimum of 3 months. You need to allow yourself a good 12 weeks to make any decent physiological change that will stick. Also, by signing up to any of the Personal Training & Coaching Packages, you’re agreeing to the terms and contract laid out here
